Our services - How we work

We believe in efficiency and maximizing our resources to deliver the best value to our clients. Our approach is grounded in our extensive experience and technical expertise, allowing us to strategically plan and execute every project to perfection.

Survey

We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and requirements, this may involve coming to your site to carry out a survey.

Once the survey is complete, we provide our recommendations and work with you to finalise the design.

Once the design is complete, we report back with a comprehensive plan and, more importantly, a competitive price.

Install

Our qualified engineers or approved electrical contractors handle the complete installation of the UPS system, ensuring electrical connections are correct and that all electrical works comply with electrical safety regulations and standards. The UPS batteries, whether internal or external, are carefully connected using fully insulated tools and torque settings. Proper positioning and securing of batteries are essential for heat management and safety.

After Installation, our engineering team performs comprehensive testing and commissioning to guarantee that the system is fully functional and ready for operation.

Load Testing: We simulate power failures and load conditions to ensure the UPS system responds correctly, switching to backup power without interruption.

Battery Performance: The batteries are tested under load to verify their capacity and discharge times, ensuring they provide sufficient backup during outages.

Alarms and monitoring: All monitoring and alarm systems are configured and tested to alert you to any system faults or maintenance needs.

Veron Power went above and beyond our expections, completing the project on time and on budget.

Maintain

UPS maintenance is essential for ensuring reliable operation and extending the equipment’s lifespan. Routine maintenance is typically carried out bi-annually or annually. This proactive approach helps prevent unexpected downtime and maintains the UPS’s performance and efficiency.

Included during maintenance

  • Battery care. We perform battery impedance testing with calibrated meters to assess the health of your battery system, identifying any early indicators of potential failure or failed battery blocks.
  • Inspection. Where possible, we download and analyze history logs to identify any alarms or abnormalities. We then conduct a comprehensive internal inspection of the UPS, including health and age assessments/measurements of consumable parts such as fans and capacitors. Additionally, we review the environment in which the UPS operates to ensure it meets manufacturer recommendations, offering suggestions where applicable.
  • Functional Testing. Comprehensive functional testing of the UPS system is conducted, including transfers to bypass, as well as battery discharge and recharge cycles. This confirms all components are operating seamlessly under various conditions, verifying system reliability and readiness in the event of a power interruption.
